    This guy was taking off from the far end of Anhinga trail late in the afternoon last week.
    Nikon D3, 300mm F4 w/1.7 tc @510mm, F6.7, 1/1000, ISO 640, Manual Mode

    Hi Oz - like that wing spread - pushing the whites to the limit - dont think any are actually over, but certainly up there is some spots, sharp as a tack wouldnt expect anything else with that combo. Would try to tone down some of the brighter sections of the background just a tad.
    Is that a bit of lens flare on the LHS wing tips?

    Hey Mr. O,
    I like the composition and pano crop...the blurred background habitat looks good and goes well with this little guy, I like the fine, sharp details in the under wings...agree with Mr. Peters on the warm whites; the envelope is ranging 245 -250 in various sectors...need to tone it down; everything else is good...congrats...:cool:

    Did real well with the exposure Oscar !!! I like the overall feel and if anything would like seeing a little more of the habitat !! Sort of more room for the bird !!! I like it a lot !!!

    .... btw the dead gator is still around !!!
