No place I hang out normally--biker's bars after a fight, or a Star Wars border watering hole. Or is it Vincent van Gogh after self-surgery?

Regardless, I hope I don't meet him in my dreams ...

Olympus SP-570UZ, 92mm zoom; ISO 64, f/4.5, 1/80sec. Some cropping of the picture around the head in PSE7; sharpening and contrast of the eye, overall sharpness increase; contrast, fill light, saturation adjustments.

I am not sure about the eye--it really was opaque when I took the picture, and I could not tell if he had some sort of blindness. Perhaps it's just a "lid" covering the pupil. Anyway, it's "authentic".

Thank you for looking, and comments gratefully received.

    Hi Massimo,
This is the celebrity from Star Wars...:D:p A face only a mother could love...I like the capture...I took the liberty on making a few adjustments and modifications to your base image, to enhance the beauty of this little guy...:) I cropped all the way around making the subject tighter in frame, thus getting all of the attention that he deserves...I desaturated the background and blurred it some more, adjusted the red channel on the bird, opened up the blacks, and adjusted the mid-tones to bring out more details, selective sharpened the eye, and ran a pass of noise reduction in the background...see if this presents best to you...

OHHHH Myyyyy - certainly a colourful guy isn't he - really does look like something from star wars.

Gus repost is on the money for me - really like the range of colours in this - good show :)

With the looks of that eye it is a spooky looking bird !!! Imagine that is the first thing we look at .... so you can imagine :)

Normally I like tighter in this situations but here the first might be more appealing .... maybe the face is smaller in frame :D:)
