    Taken this summer and a real treat for me in that we almost never get RBNH here. Mostly we get the White-breasted.

    Canon 20D and 400 f/5.6 Av Mode ISO 100 1/500 sec f/5.6

    Nice find and pose. The light looks quite harsh and the plumage is a bit oversharpened. I would prefer a bit more room at the bottom and if the blue part of the BG were green, too. Maybe a bit S/H for more details in the shadows.

    Agree with Axel !!!! Softer light would have made a big difference !!!

    I like the pose and BG. For me the light just seems really harsh.
