    Mid afternoon sun at Gatorland this week.
    I like the way the nest and branch above provide an in focus frame.
    It was getting close to feeding time.
    1dsm3, 800mm, 1/1000 @ f/11, iso 400
    Post processing in Lightroom.
    Comments appreciated.

    Nice family portrait, looks like you did well with mid-day light. I might brighten the middle chick's bill as it seems to get lost in the BG, and the shadow on his neck is a little distracting, nice image

    Good comments by Dan. Although you did the best you could for that time of day, I still think the very harsh light is having a negative impact on the image. Best to photograph early morning or late afternoon.

    Hi Mike - love the family port. Agree with the comments on the harsh light - not much you could do though - as noted some more seperation between the chicks beaks and the BG would have been nice.

    looking forward to seeing more :)
