    I got to spend spring break in the Corpus Christi area taking photos and this little guy gave me some excellent opportunities.
    Canon 40D / 500f4 + 1.4X / 1/2000th @ f8 / iso400

    Hi Trey Sweet low angle and great feel Might just take a little from top and bottom...... just wish he had a cleaner bill :) Big Congrats !!!

    A lovely capture. I guess the clean bill is subjective. This way shows a busy feeder. I would be happy as is. Nice BG, and fab bokeh.

    Nice one Trey, sweet BG although I see a little bit of noise, I could go either way about the bill and might crop it a wee bit more, but like it as is.

    Thanks for the input. I got several of this species but have not been through them yet. Maybe I will find one with a cleaner bill.
