    Great Blue Heron was returning to the nest to give it's partner a break. There are now two babies aboiut two weeks old .

    You have caught the wings in an interesting position here Judy as this Heron puts on the brakes - Lovely detail in the bird.

    Lovely stop action image Judy. I like like how the outstretched feet seem to anticipate contact with the nest.breath

    This is such a fine image, Judy! Well done. I suppose if I had to nit it at all, it would be the dark bg to the left. I might try to lighten it to bring out more separation, if possible?
