This is an image from a few years ago taken at Sani Lodge in Ecuador. These monkeys roost in this tree cavity during the day. The image was underexposed in the field and I just recently had a try at reprocessing it. We are heading back there in August so hopefully I will get another try at these guys, this time with the MkIII so I shouldn't have to worry so much about the lack of light there. Cropped to vertical.

    OMG, I'm in love!!!!

Such curious and adorable eyes all pweking out of that hole in the tree :)
Great catch, Nate, well seen. The slight diagonal position of the monkeys makes the image stronger.

    Hi Nate,
They look like little alien versions of the 3 Stooges. They seem to be smiling for the camera so getting another shot of them doesn't look to be a problem. Noise doesn't look bad at all but there does seem to be a little blur from the low shutter speed.

As mentioned the diagonal line makes the image strong combined with the expressions.
