This guy was very, VERY, keen on my chips. A bit scary, actually.

I almost cropped it tight around the eyes and beak, but I like the bulk behind the head--sort of like a sumo wrestler's stance: I'm coming after you, bud!

Olympus SP-570UZ; 92mm zoom; ISO 64, f/5.6, 1/640sec. PSE7: slight crop; sharpened and brightened the eyes and beak; enhanced contrast, saturation, and brightness.

Thank you for looking, and comments always welcome.

Hi - great practice subjects these guys - your whites look in check and it is sharp were it counts. Can see some noise present but to be expected, not crazy about the crop with the legs cut off - think I would crop tighter bringing the focus more to the face area - sharpenng the eyes just a tad.

    imho
    Keep em coming :)

Framing wise I would try going a lot tighter and after the face only.

Keep in mind this things are just taste and should be to what looks good to you. Interested to what others think about the crop? Understand the thinking behind the Sumo and does show your creative side !!! Keep experimenting !!!!
