    These young elephant calfs belong to two different family groups, but they know each other. The rubbing of trunks is a typical greeting between elephants. Sometimes they even place their trunks into each others mouths. The two family groups came together on their way to a watering hole. The image was created in Samburu, Kenya, known for its red soil, therefore the reddish tinges to these youngster's hides. I know the light is a bit harsh, but the moment needed to be recorded. This is a scan, so no detailed exposure information available. Hope you like my image. C and C welcome, I'm here to learn.

    Very tender moment with eyes visible on both. There seems to be problem with contrast, probably due to the scan or maybe the light you had at the time.
    Composition is good. Thanks for sharing this one :)

    Nice work capturing the moment and I like the BG trees and FG grass, goes with them well. Contrast issue mentioned.
