Very cool and interesting. Definitely a different image! :) I wondered what owl has such moonface when seen the thumbnail. LOL. Creative I say!

What fun image. I really enjoy the illusion of one bird. Good DOF. What f-stop did you use?

The juxtaposition you have captured of these owls is amazing. I wonder if this picture is serendipitous or planned? The only thing I wish for is the light to be a bit warmer. Thank you for sharing.

I'm wondering this too, but either way this is very cool, and well seen!! The only thing that I would suggest is to tighten-up your selection around the owls before applying a round of gaussian blur as there is a distracting gap around them that hasn't been touched by the blur.

He he.....Ok Anita......cape coral.....planned Marina?.....I'd love to say yes.....but you never know where/how long these guys will hang around. Sometimes I am amazed how tolerant they are.....sometimes roll down the window......they are gone. Near the library.
Very unusual.....as the 2 were great! very unique perspective....even I had to do a double take! The light was prety late.....so you could warm it a bit. deinitely unusual.

Pretty cool composition, I particularly like the appearance of the heart-shaped face(s). I would sharpen it a bit more.

Hi Anita, You lined up perfectly on the 2 subjects to get this creative composition. As Roman said about the double take...I had the same reaction. Well handled!

Well thanks all. I was shooting one and the other guy finally came out. I was waiting for that. Moved quickly, got two shots in and then they parted.I wanted the heads together. Part waiting, part hoping Mother Nature would perform...

If this is deliberately planned, then it is truely inspired. Great work!!
