Ok, maybe it's not a Mountain Lion making a daring leap but watching this guy take a back flop off the side of the log was pretty funny. He tried his best in his panic to run straight up the log he was lying on as if to take off on a flying leap from the end, only to fail. Apparently their hard round shells do not give them much tree climbing agility. :D OK, fine, maybe the Mountain Lion is better. Does it count that I was taking this speed demon at only 1/1000 from a rocking boat, handheld with a beer in the other hand?

Maybe he was being chased by a mountain lion. :)

I like the framing, especially the diagonal of the log, but would have preferred to not have the strong line in the BG dissecting him.

I agree with Robert about the dark line in the background. But I must admire in your skills - beer in one hand and camera on the other - that's terrific. I guess, it had a calming influence. :-)
