    Haim:

    A lovely bird, great colors in bird, with very complimentary background colors, that play well off the birds many colors

    I think a bit more room to the left would add to the image. I am glad you mentioned about the perch, as it is so rectolinear, that it looks man made! Maybe just another round of sharpening on the birds head.

    I love the combination of soft and sharp here. Pose and head angle are good and eye contact is excellent (I love that catchlight!). Your BG is pleasing and simple. Good job on stopping the action.
