I couldn't resist the water color and the GBH with the setting sun. I did try to slow the SS down here......to soften the water and the colors. Had just enough SS to freeze the flowing crest and breast feathers.

I'm a sucker for silhouettes, especially with such golden BG. I knoe you like tight, but I need some real state for the feet ;)
Pretty sharp for moving at 1/125.

Great light and silhouette, another vote for more room at the bottom.

    Roman,
Lovely image. I love the golden light and the texture in the background. I think more space at the bottom would have shown us more of the reflection and that would have broken the pattern in the water. So I don't mind the tight crop at the bottom.

    Cheers,

    Hi All,
Thanks! I may actually have a bit of room on the bottom......but you do know me when I get a hold of that crop tool.......will re-post with more......but if I rmember correctly.....wasn't thrilled with the reflection.

Here it is with the extra room on bottom..all I have....and after i checked.....I have many more with even more room! Backed off the Sigmonster 100mm and more! This was my favorite leg position though......and Fabs.....I'm 99% sure he paused during this step.

Space looks better now. Nice light and well exposed. Does look a bit oversharpened on the 2nd one.
