    Stuart,
    I like the colours and the wing spread. Would have loved a bit of head turn towards you. I would try cropping the tips of the vegetation. Thanks for sharing.

    I like the low perspective, and the spread wings look good. Some blacks on the body looked blocked, but this was a tough lighting situation to properly expose both whites (some of which look hot) and blacks. I actually like the blue at top and would keep it there. Compositionally you could add some canvas at right if you have it. I would also look at desaturating the yellows a bit in the BG and grass, and toning down the bright upper mandible. Overall very nice :-)

    Agree with Daniel's suggestions, very well explained. Nice wing spread and pose. Light was working against you here.
