    Nice alert pose and good feather detail, Tom. I like the OOF pine foliage in the upper part of the image and would be tempted to patch it over the brownish upper right corner. The only other issue is the pale OOF branch cutting across the image - this should be relatively easy to tone down a bit.

    Nice pose. Toning down the branch passing behind the bird would help.

    I agree about toning down the bright streak behind the bird. I'm finding the bird a bit tight in the frame - a bit of extra breathing room above and below would be good to loosen the comp. I like the alert posture on this gal. and I like the the OOF foliage at top.

    Yes, I prefer this new looser crop and eliminated branch - good job!. Although I'd prefer if the tiny bits of branches poking in at top were not there.

    Good job on eliminating the branch in the BG. Looser crop is nice but I agree with Dan re the near foliage at the top. Some NR on the BG would also be worth considering.
