suggestions for morning shoot on West Coast

Driving up to St. Pete on Friday. I want to do a morning shoot on the way up...

either Venice, or Bunchee Beach, or Ding....

anyone have the scoop on current a.m. activity at these locations?

Mike Venice is way up there and the light might be harsh by the time you get there. One hour up from Ft Myers. btw Ding is closed on Fridays !!!!

I was planning on leaving in the dark so I can be on the west coast by 9 the latest...

Mike eve if Ding is close you can do the causeway but it needs to be early ... being there no later than seven thirty !!

Dont forget the MacDill AFB air show is Saturday, Might have some effect on traffic as well as what all is in the skies at DeSoto.

Didn't know that. I'm staying on the beach. Do they do close flybys over desoto?
