    I photographed this yesterday ay Ding Darling. Very slow day. I used my Sony A100 with A Sigma 50-500 Lens at f/6.3,1/100,+0.7 ev,ISO 100, 500mm. Thanks for looking, John

    Hi John,
    I like the composition and capture...you were dealing with very harsh light...I like the details in the blacks...would have liked to have seen the Anhinga with it's eyes open...perhaps a few more seconds would have made the difference...looking forward to your next one...:cool:

    Hi John Softer light would have made a difference but did well with the harsh light. I like how you framed the bottom with a little more room that up top. Also like having the head parallel to the film plane and showing a behavior !!!

    HI John - agree with the comments above, soft light would have beenthe key.
