Columbia River area in June

I will be in the Columbia River area from June3 to June 6, we plan on driving the highway and back roads and stopping wherever there are photo opertunities. Any suggestions?

Gary,
If you are anywhere near Bonneville Dam that will be an excellent spot for photographing Ospreys in flight.
During that time is the peak of the Shad fish run in the Columbia and the area at the dam is plugged full of these fish that the Osprey love to feed on.
There's also a great lookout spot about 5 miles West of Bonneville (on the Washington side) that overlooks the gorge and Beacon Rock. The veiw from here is sensational.
