    I like the pose and soft light. It needs some CW rotation and I would sharpen the bird more. A lower angle would have made it even better if that was an option.

    Lovely colors in your glossy. I like the drop on the end of the beak. Agree with Axel's comments re: CW rotation and a touch more sharpening. If you have it, I would give a fraction more room at the bottom for the virtual feet.

    It's difficult to find these beautiful birds away from their busy reedy environments - congrats on getting this one with clear water behind it and and really showing off the iridescent plumage! I like the drop coming from its bill. I agree with Axel about the rotation and Daniel RE: more space for the feet. A lower angle would be better but if you were shooting from a boardwalk, there's not much you can do about that.
