    From this afternoon at Anhinga. Things are quickly drying up here as far as birds are concerned:eek::eek:

    Nikon D3, Nikon 200-400 w/1.7tc @600mm, F6.7, 1/500, Manual Mode, ISO 400, Tripod used.

    I like the interaction and nice timing!

    Perhaps it's just my monitor but I find the whole image looks strange. It appears to me that except the upper part of the left wing of the bird on the right looks sharp, the rest looks blurry, like something went wrong during the post-processing...too much noise reduction or something. I wonder if it has to do with the 1.7TC, but I have used and seen 1.7TC used with 200-400 and the results looked better than this one. Don't know what happened but just saying what I see.

    Did not use any noise reduction on this one Desmond. Don't see what you mean as far as looking strange??
