Getting low almost always provides more intimate views of your subjects. I created this image while on my knees in 18 inches of water while photographing with James Shadle and Randy Stout who has been making lots of great comments here on BPN lately. Thanks Randy!
Canon 800mm f/5.6L IS lens with the 1.4X II TC and the Canon EOS-1D Mark III. ISO 500. Evaluative metering at zero: /1/800 sec. at f/8 set manually.
This is full frame. Lots of apparently toasted whites and pinks were saved (with detail restored) using the Recvoery slider in ACR.
Don't be shy; all comments welcome.
