    Fine capture Love fine detail and dof !! Would consider taking some from the bottom to minimize the perch !! Excellent image !!!

    Nice going, Elvin! I agree with Al on taking off the perch to just above the horizontal branch and might even want to take a small amount off the sides, too. You did a great job of getting good detail from tip to end. The entire image looks to be a tiny bit dull so I did the following:

    Opened levels and hit "auto." Opened curves and hit "auto". Both added just a tiny bit of oomph. I selected the eye and did a levels adjustment on it where I moved the white and gray sliders to the right just a tiny bit - that gives the eye more feeling of light bouncing off of it.

    Ran a quick round of noise reduction as well. Here's the result that tiny tweaks can make...

    Very nice looking male Roseate I really like the detail and color of his eye, agree with Jules the crop is a nice improvement.

    A very nice dragonfly indeed...I like the details and the color rendition on the little guy...the repost takes it over the top...:cool:

    Hey Elvin, excellent details, colors, and BG, agree the cropped image is much better.
