    Default Pheasants

    Hi

Another pheasant photo taken while waiting for some brown hares. This was a very brief battle with the bird on the left quickly seeing off the other. Interestingly these are two different colour morphs here with the dark morph on the right (no neck ring) and the green japanese variety, which are quite common locally, on the left.

    Taken with 1Dmk3 and 500mm lens at ISO800 F4, +0.33EV at 1600s.

    Cheers

Cool interaction, soft light and details. Great to see different morphs in one image.

Very cool battle action you capture Rich! Perfect poses in relation to one another, and both birds are sharp. I would only remove the yellow patch above the top bird's head as it kinda spoils an otherwise perfect BG. Just super!

Great comp colour and exposure. Great action and good detail. Would have been super if you had both from the side. Well done on this
