    Hi Herb

    Just the harsh light got you here !!! ...not sure about the +1.67 ec? I like the slight head turn and eye contact, raised head feathers sure look good.

    Might try a little less sharpening or just sharpen the body slightly less using a layer and adding canvas if you have it, bird is a little tight.

    I like the eye contact and hairdo in this one. You probably didn't need the EC in this light. The water looks much calmer than when I was there yesterday morning.

    Thanks for commenting gentlemen. I had some bright reflections of the sky in the water, so I jacked up the e.c. I'll try a reduction next time.
