    Default Eastern Bluebird -- Male

I went to Middle Creek WMA this afternoon hoping to get some more flight shots of Snow Geese, but they were in an area not accessible to the public. Fortunately I found a pair of Bluebirds checking out one of the nest boxes they have. The images I made of them, made the trip well worth it.

Love the parch and the background.

    Two things I might try...

-Toning down the blue saturation a bit
-Cropping to loose some of that long stalk and to place more emphasis on the bird itself.

Great find and image. I like the perch, pose, details and soft light. I might crop a bit off the bottom and would prefer if the upper part of BG were not darker. The blues look fine on my monitor.

I like it quite a bit just as it is, esp. the sharpness and the image design. An option would be to clean up the upper mandible amd the upper flank.

Bryan, This is very nice. The composition and colors are lovely. I would crop a bit from the bottom, but not much. I think the BG is super!

The exposure and colours look perfect to me. Comp wise, I would cut off at the bottom where the perch splits. I like this lots. Well done.

Blues look fine to me as well. I'd crop some off the bottom as well. Nice image. :)
