    Looks like it was taken at night!! I would definitely tame the brighter highlights (the flash is quite strong-looking), and also crop on each side to make it as vertical. Cool looking owl, and I like the way it is gripping the branch.

    Over-flashed or over-exposed as the whites at the center of the breast are burned. Wonderful subject and sharp. The irises could be lightened. I am thinking that an original VERT capture would have been better here if only for reducing the amount of whitewashed branches.
