    Another from the recent trip to the cliffs in La Jolla Had lots of opportunities with the pelicans to capture the behavior Main problem was finding one by itself Birds tend to congregate and moving around for a clean image is not always possible slippery are and a long ways down !!!

    Great image, love the headthrows and the last couple weeks have been full of them. Love the crop and the OOF blue ocean of course. So much fun to shoot with you guys.

    Very cool, Al! I have not photographed any pelicans yet--so it is fun to see them.

    I always love seeing this behavior. So interesting....and then add the great colors and you have an image that I can look at all day. Well done.

    Beautiful, Alfred! I love the position of the nect and not to mention the colors. Can't wait to get to La Jolla and see them for myself!

    Can not believe how beautiful these pelicans are and your capture really shows off the wonderful colors. Love the eye peeking through and a very lovely crop Alfred. stunning image !!
