    Jim:

    Nice bird, nice colors, complimentary background. Nice angle of bird in frame.

    For me, the framing is too tight, esp. in front. Although I tend to like darker images, I think brightening this one would make it stronger, and help it pop a bit more. I think your whites will tolerate a bit brighter rendering. The top of the head might be an issue re: burning the whites there.

    Excellent critique by Randy. Here's a repost that tries to correct a few issues. I did not take the time to add canvas, but I agree that a little more would help the image. I also lightened the iris just a bit.

    One of the nicer Wigeon images I've seen. I completely agree with adding more canvas around the duck.
    I'll bet Roman loves this one. :D

    Love the detail in the green eye patch. Yes to too tight. Excellent re-post by Doug--not the lighter iris among other improvements.
