    Just got back from vacation. Florida is a gold mine of wildlife, especially birds.

    This Tiger did not want his photo taken--not sure why he was so mad at me. This is the last in focus image before he attacked---thank goodness for plexiglass!!

    1/200, f5.0, ISO 500, FL 250mm.

    awesome capture, kathy! too bad it's bottom jaw got cut off. i think that's the only thing that could make it better. well done through the glass. i hope it was thick!! those teeth look like they might hurt!!!!

    Like your original post Kathy. Thank goodness for plexiglass. Looks prettty sharp too. Great action capture.

    Hi Kathy,
    I like the second tighter repost, actually I would make it even tighter, placing all of the attention on the face. also kicking up the saturation just a tad, and selective sharpening the eye...I like it...congrats...:cool:

    Brilliant repost Kathy.
    It is fascinating how this image and also the "Lions mating" image have the wrinkled nose area which although I love big cats shows their potential for what we might call savagery.
    Have heaps of tiger pix but none yet with the wrinkle nose look.
    Congratulations on holding your ground and getting this amazing image.
