    Well done Jeff,
    I like the composition, image and close up capture...the multi colored background compliments your bird and makes him stand out...you have very good color rendition on the subject with sharp details, a good head angle and clear sharp eye...good show...looking forward to your next one...:cool:

    Agree with comments and particularly like how the bottom is cropped !!

    Would try sharpening again until it looks a little over then back off !! Most of my sharpening is done on a layer so I can only do the part I need which is the head area !! Excellent image !!!

    Jeff, I agree with above comments and would just add- Nice pose and BG. I might remove the tiny-tiny 2nd catchlight- Well done!

    Like the puzzled look on the bird's face Jeff. Very nice BG and exposure.
