    I have not seen too may head portraits of these species, but this baby came so close. Cropped form horizontal.

    Their elegant neck and those red eyes make these one of my favorites!!! Against that dreamy BG, you've captured them both beautifully!! Exposure is spot on!

    A lovely bird, sharp, well exposed.

    My 1st thought when I saw the image was that it is too dark. I think the bird itself is bright enough, but the background to my eye is so dark that it tends to blend with the darker parts of the bird, esp. the bill.

    I am on the road, on an uncalibrated monitor, but I think it would be stronger if the seperation between the bird and the background was greater, the bird being relatively brighter, esp. the eye.

    I like the exposure control, details and BG and might only remove one of the catchlights.
