    Nothing real exotic to photograph around greater Kansas City but I did love watching these two ducks this afternoon as they took to the water of a local lake.

    Canon 40D, EF 70-200mm and 1.4 TC
    f5.6 @ 1250th, ISO 200
    Manual mode, Sunny WB
    Handheld, pattern metering

    Well, someone is enjoying life for sure, just look at the expression on the second one, wow!

    Nice whites and compo, I'm sure a lower angle was not possible, al it would have created a merge in the birds anyway.
