    No better image of a flying Nighthawk showing top side is available on the market I guess :)

    Hi Jan. I have never seen a BIF shot of the Nighthawk. Very nice pose and the action is nicely frozen. Can you tell us more about the conditions and the camera info? Thank you.

    It was the time of the year when they do their display flight. At some places they were all over the streets. It's pretty amazing what a noise they can make with their wings while flying.

    With this one I got lucky and he(?) came really close.

    I used F 6.3 Iso 400 and 1/2000
