    Canon 40D EF500 f/4 + 1.4 tc, tripod flat on ground, ISO200, 1/500, f/11, ec -1/3, full frame, small dark reflection removed at upper right corner.

    Another beauty Simon - love the low angle and even light. Sure it's not an eclipse or moulting male???

    Looks like you've found a great spot Simon.:)
    I like the lighting better on this one. Great detail throughout. The tiny droplets on the head and the glimpse of orange leg just add to it.

    Excellent capture. I like the low angle, eye contact and soft light.
