Mating Egrets from Lake Martin ..... stick capital of the world !!! Love the place and sure has peculiar bg. Maybe more sticks that most will care for but still fill is a keeper .. your thoughts?

Great action, a wonderful mating shot Alfred, nice use of shallow dof to minimize the sticks.

    Hi Alfred,
Nice action you captured. The two OOF sticks in the FG leading to the legs are a little overpowering for me. I don't mind the one on top so much as it makes me think they're doing the limbo, which I guess you could call it that too :)

    Hi Al,

While there's a lot going on, stick-wise, the action is so interesting, they're not too distracting. If anything, I wish that twig wasn't in front of the male bird but, it's all a part of the "picture."

I love the moment, and how the white egrets pop out from all the dark ambient. Congratulations!

HaHa--I think this is a wonderful image, Al. Wonderful interaction. I am not bothered by the twigs, but I might like to see it just a tad brighter (at least on my monitor)
