Greetings all, I've missed this forum and all of you. This image was taken before sunrise (note to Roman) and it is the view from my stone, timber and thatched bungalow in Namibia at the Kulala Wilderness Camp. It was a great trip and now that I've worked past the jetlag, I will be checking in here more often. I love the colors and the clouds---C&C encouraged and greatly appreciated!
This is six panels, photomerged with CS3 (thank you, Alfred); Canon G10; f3.2, 1/30sec; Eval +1/3; ISO 80.
Hi Katie,
You get a WooHooo! on the color! See what happens during the "magic hours"! I may lighten the FG a touch....and while I don't personally mind the curve of the land....some may....so you may want to try a bit of perspective correction....but as I said.....I'm OK with it. I'm thrilled you were rewarded with a spectacular sunrise....and you captured it brilliantly! I hope you have enough detail at f3.2 throughout.....but with the six stitched images.....you should be fine. The color and curves of the clouds is definitely enough to carrry the image....but you also chose a very nice flow to the mountains. Bravo Katie!
