I'm posting this image of Peggy's cove lighthouse again (I posted it about 10 months ago)...not because i want you all to comment on it....but because I want to impress on all of you in ETL.....the importance of getting up and being at your location B4 sunrise/sunset. People often ask me....What is the most important thing in Landscape photography??? The light, the light, the light!.....More specifically the 1/2 hour B4 sunrise to about 1/2 hour after.....and the same for sunset.....1/2 hour B4 and after. Not that images taken after that are bad......but to make them achieve another level......you need clouds (not too many...not to few)...and that early morning/late eveing light. My great inspiration Galen Rowell lived by this.....and his images clearly showed his passion.......so to all of you in ETL........get out there early....and stay out late......this will quickly put your images over the top! Now keep your fingers crossed on those clouds!
This is from the "old" slide days.....so only tech info I can give........E100VS film and Canon EOS Elan mounted on tripod flat.....while laying in the water.........3 stop grad ND filter used to bring the FG in line with the sky.
PS....I have tons of these with light just later.....not nearly as nice!

Very nice indeed , i was there last September when they had a nasty storm and got nice and wet lol . I was able to salvage 1 or 2 pictures that did not have rain drops on them . Ill post one up later :)
Thanks for the tip Roman, lovely image. The colour of the sky and clouds are incredible. Composition is very nice too. Lines lead you right through the image.
