This is the Catalonian farmlands in Catalonia, Spain; taken on one of the lower ridges during a vacation and family reunion.
This was taken early morning around 11:00 a.m. My uncle was holding me from my shirt, because he was afraid of me falling…imagine that…:)
The image was painted with a Nikon F100, 35mm film camera, using a Nikkor 20mm f/2.8D AF lens. The negative was scanned into digital jpeg format. As far as I can remember; the ASA was 200 / and possibly a shutter speed of 1/125 or 1/150sec / with an f-stop of perhaps f/11 or f/16
Hi Gus,
does look like you had enough DOF....but the light looks a bit harsh....but it also may be the scan. I would definitely try a multiplied layer on the sky.....the split ND.....would have helped.....but since you have only a bit of sky.....you would have had to stack a few. This is the classic case of working FG...middle ground....and BG......in different layers....with different amounts of correction. Tweaking those will help a lot. I do like the base of rocks....and how the roads lead to the distant mntns. i think the few PP tweaks will definitely help.
