Hi everybody, first I would like to thank all of you for your good wishes, slowly things a falling into place :)
Here's an image I've created today, as you know I am the world's greatest Lapwings fan, so here's a different aproach to these wonderfull birds, As I like B&W a lot, even more than color, I always try to get some nice contrasting light as I think it gives the images a lot of strenght. Here's a noisy Lapwing kindly asking me to GET OUT! :D
Hope you like it.

Hello Ramon,
Nice look from this guy. Doesn't look like he wanted to be in your photo:) Seems like this might work well as a vertical too. I like the rim lighting on the bird. I'd like to see the side of the face and (especially the eye) a little brighter. Might also remove those two spots near his left wing and the other one a little further out near the bottom of the white area ;)
I also like the repost better. Fill flash would have helped you in this back lit situation. I like the rim light and can live with the specular highlights.
I like the repost a lot Ramon, great calling pose and it works well in black and white. When I was in Argentina one of these birds flew straight at me, I think it would have hit me, had I not hit the ground first.
Ramon, I took a minute to go on your web-site and I really loved your B&W work- This image is very nicely done. I agree with previous comments and look forward to more!
