    I captured this guy a couple weekends ago out at Antelope Island State Park here in northern Utah... the background is the edge of the Great Salt Lake off in the distance, down a good ways below this rock ledge.

    Nice color tone to this one. I like the perch and the bird is a handsome subject.

    I like the angle, pose and eye contact and only wish for a better light angle.

    Wow, what a bird!!! I like the light angle in this one, it gives definition to the subject and the face is fully lit. BG rocks!

    Beautiful bird, nice perch and BG. Would it have been possible for you to move to your right more in order to get better light angle? Although I don't mind said light angle on the body, I find I'm wanting the face in more direct light...

    I really like the subtle sidelighting in this image John, for me there's enough light on the face for it to work well, although a bit more of a headturn might have been nice. Lovely smooth bg.
