    Default Laughing Gull

Here's another from Saturday morning out at Little Estero. The birds were a bit sparse (very unusual for that place!) for the early part of the morning, so we worked what we had. This is a nice Laughing Gull I think. The nice blue BG works for me here.

Canon 1DsMII, 600mm f/4L, f/4, 1/3200, ISO 200, +2/3 EV, Tripod with legs flipped out to lower a bit for better POV.

Low angle is super! I like the head turn. While I like it as presented I wonder what it would look like with more reflection visible?

    Bob,

Good looking classic image of a Laughing Gull. I think you cut the reflection at the right spot. Looks a bit soft on the head - some selective sharpening needed. Low angle perspective just what the doctor ordered.

    Hey Bob,

Lovely low angle. Sharpening looks right (finally) with a nice eye contact and head angle. Don't forget we need to hang out soon!!

    Take care man!!
