Nice framing of this female. I like that the web foot is visible. A bit more head turn toward you and perhaps a degree or so down would be ideal.

Good looking pose on the bird - looks pensive, and I like the diagonal slant to the perch. BG works well with him and I don't find it distracting except for one thing - I wish the branch behind the beak was not the same color as the beak.

I agree with Robert's comments but would add that I really like the way her foot is positioned and the breeding colors are quite striking.
