    OK Harold,
Here goes.....You had a tough situation (as always) there in Florida.....but I do like your leading line of the car path/trail....the B&W just seemed a bit flat/lacking depth. I was a little sloppy on my layers(evident mostly on the LH side pines)....as I was trying to do it quickly....but this will give you an idea. I used a combination of adjustments on the sky (very little) and mostly the trees and path......from levels and contrast.....then dodging the path and surrounding grasses extensively. This added quite a bit of depth to the overall image.....and I did crop slighly from the left.....just to minimize some of the pine fronds. All in all you composed very nicely...with the 2 trunks right framing and balancing the LH pines......just needed to tweak the image and bring out the B&W textures more. Let me know what you think. BTW.....did so many corrections had to knock it down to 50 in order to fit!

i like what u did....i did this as an HDR and hated all the ghosting. probably a coule more tries too. settled on the posted image, and still thought it needed to be brighter in the fg. thanks for the repost. will go back and give it another shot.

I was looking at it too and thought it could use a bit more contrast as well Harold. I went the other way though, and added a sepia filter just for fun.

Doctor, you did very well on the base image. I like Romans repost, which opened up that pathway...

Harold I just did the tint. Then went into curves and dragged a point midway down just a bit to darken the mid-tones til I got something I liked.
