    Beautiful bird and perch. There is not much you could have done about the busy BG. Some parts of the BG look noisy and there is a sharpening halo around the bird and perch.

    Axel, thanks for the feedback. How do you get rid of the halo? Less sharpening?

    Just sharpen the subject within the borders, not the surrounding BG.

    Very lucky to catch one on a sunny day - I also like seeing the avocados on which they feed

    Agree with Axel . My other comment would be - image seems too bright : either slightly over-exposed or something you did in PS

    Try Image Adjustment Curves , select the lower left point and slide it about 10-20% along the bottom to your liking

    Very nice post - - thanks for sharing. Was it taken at/near Savegre?
