    TOOK THIS SHOT BANKING OVER THE RIVER CALDER IN LANCASHIRE,NEAR TO WHERE I LIVE,NOT SO KEEN ON PLANE BLUE BGs,you can not always pick your BGs.CANNON 40D,400MM PRIME LENS,1/1600SEC,F8.0,ISO500,HAND HELD.THANKS.

    Hi Chris

    Got a cool pose, razor sharp and good exposure. Its a shame about the shadow but not much you could have done. Earlier/later in the day might have made a different but a good image as presented !!!

    I like the lookback pose, details and wing position. I agree regarding the light angle.

    I agree about the shadow, but I love both the semi-circle swoosh of the wings and the downward glance towards us!! I also like the crossed feet...very neat :-)
