I shot this Sunday. The picture is of newly greening moss with last years flowers (I think) sticking out. Had to lie flat on the belly for this one. Not much for color, but this picture has a soothng effect for me.

The colors in this are outstanding, John! I reall like the down-on-your-belly perspective and the dew drops are a great focal point to all the OOF grass. Only suggestion I have is to think about cloning out some of the fragmented pieces of "dew" - either way the image works.

May I ask what camera body you used? I don't see that listed. With a 105mm macro I'm guessing it's a Nikon of some kind?

    Well done John,
I like it as presented....the color rendition is superb, I like the soft, pastel feel on this one and the ultra low capture angle...good show...

Beautiful. It is soothing! Beautiful mutted colors. I like the combination of focused and out of focus elements.

    John,

I like the soft focus and how the colors blend. You are right a very pleasing and soothing image. Too many soft focus images just make my eyes want to work hard and focus the image. This one is just easy to look at.

Hey John, I love shooting this stuff, you can get some really nice abstract as you have done with yours. Love the water drops and orbs.
