    Another rare visotor to our area this one in a small puddle in Newton MA. there are also two different reports of Ross Geese in Ma and I may try for them on Wedsnesday

    That would be a life bird for me. I like the low angle and eye contact. I would remove the branch on the left of the frame, and I would try to sharpen the body.

    great shot, I'm still looking for my Lifer as well.
    I don't actually mind the branch in the left-hand side, it adds context IMO.

    Very lovely pose and great eye contact in this image. I agree that removing the stick on the left would definitely strengthen this image. Excellent lighting, detail and BG. Thanks for sharing John !
