This is cropped quite a bit. (TC14E II is in the mail:))

A bit of saturation, sized, sharpened.
Sharpened eye. Do you think it is still too soft?
    Comments and critique appreciated.

I like the pose and the composition - good head angle.
(Would prefer the diagonal leaf on the RHS bottom evicted)
It does look soft on my screen and the back half of your bird is in deep shadow (Always best to have the sun at your back) Looks a bit dark on my screen - A bit underexposed I suspect.

Learn how to interpret your histogram and use it to check your exposure. I am sure you will find some info in the educational resources forum.

    Keep em coming :)

I really like the composition and the depth of field, nice soft colors in the background. Mayeby crop it so a bit more of the left is showing and remove the bottom right leaf. A bit soft, but still a nice image.

The two main things here are the steep angle and light direction.... tough to overcome both !! At times impossible to overcome either one !!! .... will like your converter !!!

Yeah, I agree. To be honest my main concerns were the angle and sharpness.
Didn't think of light as a problem :p Thank you very much for the gentle critique.

    Cheers, Ilija
