This is my latest addition to the menagerie - Buddy. ( I have four cats ) Buddy is happy here after having some catnip and is quite at home in general. Last week Buddy, who really has taken full control of the abode thought it would be fun to knock a glass bowl in the toilet. Unbeknownst to me I thought I had collected all the pieces, but Murphy's Law being what it is I flushed a piece down which has managed to wedge itself in there quite nicely and cannot be removed. 650 dollars later I expect to have a new toilet installed..........could have been worse right???:)
Buddy is in the doghouse right now!

My darling little daughter did a similiar thing to me many years ago. She knocked a little brass pot into the toilet, along with it's little brass lid which stuck waaaaay down in toilet - it acted exactly like a butterfly valve - sometimes it would flush fine, sometimes it would back up. I didn't know why, but I finally yanked the toilet off the floor (was 25 then), took it out into the backyard and was able to dislodge the brass lid. Only cost me a new wax seal!!!

BTW, your "buddy" looks like he's made the adjustment and is doing just fine !!!!

    Cheers,

    Bruce
