Here's another cool bird from the highlands of Ecuador. I got this guy in Cajas National Park. Don't you just love the perch??

    Cheers!

The perch really is beautiful, as is the background. It's really complementary to the Canastero's plumage. I only wish for a little more room in front of the bird so it's not quite so centered.

Beth, with about four times the amount of empty space in front of the bill compared to behind the tail this bird does not feel or look centered at all. Looks just right in my eyes :-)

Excellent image Glenn, and you are right, that is one cool perch!!

What a lively image Glenn with beautiful colors, interesting perch, and rich bg. Very pleasing.

Lovely shot Glenn. Like the detail you've captured in the plumage, the perch and the complementary background.

    cheers Rob

    Hey Glenn,
I'm liking it all around.....as I like tight crops....I'm fine with the front......but I may take a bit off the bottom (even though I do like the perch)...just below the first horizontal leaf on the bottom left of the perch...this makes the bird the star!
    Either way.....very nicely done!
